Space saving folding door

We are proud to offer the latest in innovative door technology, the Compact Sectional Door. Its unique patented rail system, allows the insulated door panels to stack neatly above the opening, minimises the footprint in the building usually left by a conventional sectional overhead door The Compact sectional door is an industrial door designed for maximum insulation where space is limited. There are no counterbalance springs to save on space and is driven by a heavy duty direct drive motor. The composite door panels offer superior ‘U’ values compared to the roller shutters as well as sound reduction acoustic properties. The panels are available in a stucco embossed coloured finish. The panels can also incorporate various glazing options from vision ports to fully glazed. The Compact Door provides more usable space for services, loading bays, crane gantries and vehicle maintenance equipment and is available with all the accessories as that of a sectional door

Distributed all across Europe, companies and institutions taking advantage of the benefits of Compact door include McLaren Formula 1 team in England, Airbus in France, the pit boxes at the TT circuit, The Ministry of Defence, The Frische Zentrum in Frankfurt. PRODUCT SPECIFICATION

Door Panels
600mm x 40mm thick composite panels manufactured using 0.8mm aluminium liner with internally mounted aluminium U-channels. Insulated with a hard polystyrene core – giving an optimum panel u value of 0.76 W/m2 K.

Panel Finishes
Polyester powder coat finish to most RAL or BS colour numbers

Panel Hardware
Hot dipped galvanised rails, end caps, guide arms, and fixings

Headplates
Hot dipped galvanised steel headplates with unique patented guide rail system. Optional powder coat finish.

Guide Tracks
Galvanised Steel multitrack guide rails in various sizes to suit the aperture height. Optional powder coat finish.

Seals
Epdm Perimeter Seals

Operation
Electric operation via a 3 Phase or Single Phase Drive Motor. Safety sensors, integral timers, push button stations, induction loop activators, remote controls, and impulse operation also available.

Locking
Doors are self locking

Glazing Options
Fully glazed panels constructed from aluminium anodized profiles forming window section, with a choice of glazings:-

    • Double-glazed acrylate (17 mm)
  • Double-glazed polycarbonate (17 mm)
  • Single-glazed acrylate (4 mm)
  • Single-glazed polycarbonate (4 mm)
  • Single-glazed reinforced safety glass (4 mm)
  • Galvanized casing with mesh measuring 50 x 50 mm (4 mm)
  • Insulated sandwich insert panels (17 mm)

Alternatively, smaller plastic framed window ports can be supplied within a standard panel to offer limited vision. Double glazed in acrylic sheet.

Integral Personnel Door
Doors can be provided with integral ‘Wicket’ access doors, constructed within the door blade using aluminium profiles. Wicket doors come complete with locking, handles, and self closer.
